Iran ❤️ My heart aches for you every single minute of every day. There is not a day that goes by when the burning desire to see you free does not touch my soul, and I know many Persians like me in the diaspora feel the same.
The past few months have been sad and, honestly, very lonely — to realise most of the world does not care that, in a single night, tens of thousands of your people were shot dead in the streets by their occupying regime. My non-Iranian friends rarely reached out to ask how I was doing. And I was shattered, barely functioning through a variety of anti-anxiety pills, therapists, and long cries. I lost 11kg, hair, and the joy to live.
Yet people around me barely asked: “How are you doing? How’s your family?”
The media, and many of my Western friends, were not interested in the tragedies taking place in my beautiful homeland. Men and women shot dead in hospitals, nurses who helped the injured allegedly raped with foreign objects, their wombs removed; many later took their own lives. The West only became interested when Israel got involved — two months after such massacres by the Islamic regime. When the war started, suddenly everyone paid attention, and I understood then: “No Jews, No News.”
They wanted Israel to lose, no matter what happened to the defenceless, intelligent, kind Iranian people. If the war could end the Islamic regime, it meant Israel won — and they could not accept that. In their minds, there could be only one outcome: the defeat of Jews at any cost.
I write this because I am one of many who can tell you: you were fooled by the media. Don’t let them brainwash you. No one wants war — but what can be done when the enemy is the government that is supposed to protect you?

Dear politicians, the regime that runs Iran is called “Islamic Republic” it is not called Iranian Regime. They chose this name because they are serving their own ideology not the Country of Iran.
Kindly refrain from calling the regime that kills us “Iranian” just because you are too afraid to say anything negative right next to the word “Islamic” !
