Today at @YorkUniversity – Keele Campus, we gathered to amplify the voices of our Iranian compatriots inside Iran — a voice that has been either censored or distorted by many state sponsored media.
For over two weeks, Iranians rose up.
They shouted.
The world censored.
Their blood is still on the streets, even as the regime tries to wash it away. Iran is under a digital blackout — internet restricted, apps blocked, communication cut — not by accident, but to silence a nation and hide mass killing.
This doesn’t only affect people inside Iran.
It directly affects Iranian students here.
Students who cannot reach their parents.
Who refresh their phones endlessly, waiting for a message that may never come.
Students are pushed into emotional and financial crisis, carrying unbearable fear for their loved ones.
This is what suffocation looks like.
Confirmed death tolls have passed 20,000. Credible sources inside Iran put the number at 37,000+, with most killings happening in just two to four days. On a per-day basis, this is more horrific than any massacre in modern history.
We are mourning for the thousands that were killed— but we are also in the middle of a fight to save THOUSANDS THAT ARE IN THE PRISONS ON A DEATH ROW TO BE EXECUTED. They are being executed in groups.
The baton has been passed from the bloodied and imprisoned people inside Iran to us, outside the country, to finish their fight.
This is not about politics.
This is about human lives.
Silence enables another massacre .
Distortion protects the perpetrators.
We stand with Iranian students.
We stand with Iranian families.
We stand with a nation under blackout.
No regime can silence a people forever.
No blackout can erase a nation.

@LastHuman5677@RealDrJaneRuby Vaccine weaken the immune system is a myth. They strengthen it by preparing to fight specific infections.Vaccines stimulate the immune system in a controlled way, by exposing it to antigens similar to natural infections helping it learn to respond more effectively to viruses.
@JoeBiden I thought US was there to protect women, childern and basic human rights; Not to legitimize a terrorist group. So let's get real and stop the nonsense.
@JoeBiden The question is NOT why US ended this. The question is "How" you ended the war in https://t.co/EKcP6eyhId could terminate this in a more thoughtful way. You could make sure our troops and diplomats Journalists and key Taleban's opposition members are out before you pull the plug.
