🇺🇸ALEX JONES: “If you were the president, what would you do?”
🇺🇸DAN BILZERIAN: “I would declare war on Israel. I mean, at a minimum, I would cut off all foreign aid. I would let Iran have free will to do what they want with Israel”
William Saliba: “The first season I arrived, we were playing incredible football. That was the season where I said we deserved the title. We finished second - as usual, people made fun of us.”
“The second season too, we were playing good football, finished second. People made fun of us, ‘Bottle, bottle’. Last season too, we were playing well, even if we weren’t playing as well as the first two seasons, we still finished second.”
“This season, even if I don’t agree with everything they say, as if there was only one team that was playing. Well, we’re playing football, except it’s true that sometimes we score a lot more from set-pieces.”
“Now, in the Premier League, you see everyone does long throws, focuses on corners, it’s NOT just us. We just do it better than the others, so we’re going to continue like this.” 🏆🇫🇷 [@lequipe]
🗣️| Sweden manager Graham Potter on Viktor Gyokeres: “He scored four goals in two games, got us to the World Cup, so his impact is incredible. From Arsenal’s perspective, he’s played his role, scored his goals, and the team have won the Premier League and got to the Champions League final.
“He has played most of the games, but he still gets criticism. That’s just the world we’re in, but then you look at him, how much work he does, how he goes about his business, and he’s an incredible character.” [@TheAthleticFC] 🇸🇪 #afc
@TomCantonMedia@Football_LDN He’s not a right winger how can u compare him to Madueke who’s an out and out winger England’s 2nd choice currently as well 🤷♂️
nobody wanted Arsenal to win the Prem because we thought their fans were gonna be unbearable and annoying, but whats ended up happening is everyone else has become completely unbearable instead, crying and belittling their achievements as much as possible just to fuel agendas
🗣️| Marquinhos on Gabriel’s penalty miss: “When that moment happened, the first thing I thought of was the time I missed the penalty in the World Cup [quarterfinals shootout defeat to Croatia]. I know how difficult that moment is for a player; it's a weight that really falls on your shoulders. There's no way around it; it's our responsibility, it's our moment there.
“We fight all season long. Even though he has had a wonderful moment by winning the Premier League, I think they really wanted this title, too, and it's a huge responsibility on that penalty, when a player misses like that.
“So, I simply thought about the moment I went through myself, which was very difficult, and I just wanted to give him a hug and tell him that I've been through it, too. I know how hard it is, that he's had an incredible season, he deserves great things.” [via @ESPNFC] #afc
Steven Gerrard: “I look across the Arsenal squad, I don’t see much ego. I see a young hungry manager. You can’t let this setback take anything away from becoming Premier League champions. They deserve a lot of plaudits.” ❤️👏
63rd game of the season. Neutralized best attack in Europe for 120 minutes, and lost in penalties. Couldn’t be more proud of the boys. Semis, final and we will keep knocking until it’s done.
Keep your head up everyone.
