✅Planning permission for a primary school to serve the new housing development at South Stirling Gateway has been approved by Stirling Council.
A meeting of the Planning and Regulation Panel today (Tues, 25 Feb) gave planning permission for the construction of the new school, to be situated at the heart of the development site.
The school will be constructed with an external sports pitch and landscaping and be located next to active travel routes to and from #Bannockburn and surrounding areas.
The sports pitch and other parts of the school building, including the games hall, will be available for community use out of school hours.

Sadly our lovely polytunnel has been vandalised. 😢
It would be greatly appreciated if a call to 101 could be made if anyone notices people in the polytunnel. Together our community can help prevent this...
Many thanks.

An amazing morning was had with Jean Currie, who was 8 years old at the outbreak of WW2! Inspiring stories which had the children sat on the edge of their seats. A huge thanks to Jean for her time and giving our children an experience they will not forget! @strathcarron1 ❤️❤️👏
Our wonderful P6 children had their first meeting (arm chair aerobics) with their new buddies from the Falls of Dochart Retirement Home. We are so happy to be able to get back to spending time with our friends from across the road.
This year we have embedded our new school values of Honesty, Kindness, Resilience and Aspiration. Pupils have worked hard to develop their understanding, awareness and application of them all. Some great quotes in our display and a few that also raise a smile! #togetherwearemore

Great, short session this morning with @KillinPrimary Pupil Council. We explored How Good is OUR School, looking at Theme 1, Our Relationships. Pupils discussed each aspect and used Red, Amber, Green colour coding to show where we are in our journey! Next meeting, our next steps.
To address concerns of families and staff, we are proud to launch the #slowdowninourtown road safety campaign. We worked with local @ForthValPolice officers during National Road Safety Week in November ‘21, to learn about road safety and the pupils have now created this campaign.
We are delighted to share our revamped entrance hall after a massive staff effort! 🔨 🖌 🪛 🔧🪚🧹
