Jurriën Timber misses the 2026 World Cup.
The 24-year-old defender has not recovered sufficiently from a groin injury to take part in the World Cup in a medically responsible manner. In consultation with the medical staff, it has therefore been decided that Timber will leave the national team’s pre-camp in New York after the game against Uzbekistan.
We’re with you, Jurriën. 🧡
Blocked for being realistic 🤣
That being said, Arsenal absolutely disabled PSG in the UCL Final, we gave them no chances, but Timber should have been in to prevent that penalty.
@FtProgression We could’ve shown up in the EFL cup, we didn’t.
We should have won against Southampton
The UCL was ours to get
We barely, yes BARELY scraped the PL, we were lucky to have City drop points everytime we did (which was too many times)
We have potential and we don’t live up to it
@FtProgression Mosquera had no reason to stay in so long, Timber should’ve been subbed in at 45mins, Arteta still hasn’t learned when to sub, it’s always late in the match (or too late)
These players can win finals, but we are TOO careful in them, that’s the problem.
