The head of the Shura Council of the NCP — the political arm of the Sudanese Islamic Movement recently designated by the #US Government as a terrorist organization — appears in a video claiming that the movement itself appointed General Burhan as the army commander to suppress and kill protesters during the 2019 sit-in outside the military headquarters. He also states that they are fully aligned with #Burhan and that he will govern for five years until their control is secured.

The video reinforces that this terrorist organization has hijacked #Sudan’s state institutions and fueled the war to derail the civilian democratic transition. Preserving the state institutions requires ending the war, restoring the civilian transition, and dismantling the Islamic Movement’s grip on the state institutions — not enabling its continued capture of the state.

This photo from inside #Elfasher Hospital needs no explanation only a conscience in this world willing to see it.

After the bombing that targeted the shelter at Omdurman Islamic University by the RSF, the death toll has risen to 57 displaced people, including 22 women and 17 children.
The two children in the photo lost both of their parents yesterday and are now waiting for their grandmother, who is fighting for her life after being injured in the same attack, which led to the amputation of her left hand.

This tragedy is not an isolated incident, but part of a pattern of ongoing killing and suffering inside a city that has been under siege for months.
In El Fasher, death has become a daily headline, and the survivors continue to live without water, food, or safety.

What is happening in El Fasher is not just a war, but a full-scale humanitarian catastrophe, a looming social genocide where civilians are targeted simply for being alive.
Yet, the world remains horrifically silent.

What is needed now is not more statements of sympathy, but real action to stop the bombing,to deliver food and medicine,
and to hold those responsible for these crimes accountable
