@agoda I booked a room in london for a guest, paid up, the guest reached the hotel to be told that @agoda has not paid the hotel 😬! When contacted @agoda Cust care told me I have one choice - cancel and get refund and figure the room on my own 😬😬

NEVER booking on @agoda again. The hotel didn’t receive the payment from Agoda, and made the guests wait at the reception for 2 hours and asked for money. Agoda gave me 1 choice - cancel the booking for free, and figure the room on my own - because…
@agoda I really want to see what @agoda does about this case other than sharing a broken link which doesn’t open any DM whatsoever - which is I’m sure a ploy to show in public how concerned they are, while the link doesn’t work 😬
@agoda And none of what I’m saying is made up. Imagine booking hotels for your next trip, and upon reaching you are told @agoda has not paid up, so you need to pay whatever price the hotel asks you to pay!
@agoda It’s crazy @agoda even on your promotional posts you only have complaints! I’m exploring all plausible options of compensation, even legal, for the harassment and embarrassment that was endured due to your service deficiency, and nil effort to damage control
@agoda I was told to take $20 as Agoda cash as compensation 😬 and book on Agoda again, with no guarantee again that the money will be paid to the hotel this time
@agoda So essentially it means that if you book through @agoda they might not send your payment ahead and to the hotel and you may be asked to then figure out your own room! And mind you it was a $200 / night hotel not some shady place

Just for people who want to book, with @agoda there is no guarantee that their agent will pay the hotel, so you might be told by @agoda to figure your own room, and take their 20 usd Agoda cash! They didn’t even offer to sort the room with the hotel!
@agoda I had booked the hotel on @agoda one day prior and I guess that’s sufficient time to secure the room. and yes @agoda you can keep your 23 usd compensation in Agoda cash, as I’m not booking with you if this is the attitude after messing up a booking
@agoda Mind you it was a usd 200 hotel room for a guest, not a shady place! When I called @agoda the only option I was given was to take the refund and usd 23.72 Agoda cash and book it again, with no guarantee that this time the agent will pay the money ahead!

@Bajaj_Finserv what will you take to stop your people from calling and harassing. This was the 6th call and it’s 10:40 am, inspite of me telling them not to call, & that I’m recording the calls & I will put in a written complaint!! They said please complain!
@RBI can an establishment charge extra 2.5% from customer for paying through credit card? Which means they are charging more than MRP? How do you propagate the vision of a digital india when the businesses are bullying customers like this?
