Govt has planned a lot for 2047. Technology has moved. Roads are better. The old bottlenecks have not.
Ease of doing business still ends at some babu’s table. Corruption is still there, only the rates change. Law and order is still uneven. We make good roads and then ignore every traffic rule on them.
Reminds me of Indian Railways: “Savaari apne saman ke liye svayam zimmedar hai.” Same attitude. You are on your own.
Real change has to come from inside. If we only look at the big picture, it stays numbers on paper. Hope I am wrong and the next 20 years show it on the ground.
Earlier blueline buses in delhi ncr, Noida Expressway par private buses, sab issi style mein chalti thi. Bahut jhela hai yeh sab - tab social media nahi tha.
Driver ka favourite dialogue - Sher da putra hai ji
Humara jawab - Bhai, samne se bhi to koi sher da putra aa sakta hai. 😄
Authorities can't even protect our own data despite every resource they have — but let a SIM in your name get misused and suddenly it's on you. In 2018 Aadhaar data was sold for a few hundred bucks, in 2023 crores of records leaked from ICMR. First secure the databases and the PoS agents, then talk jail terms for ordinary citizens.
GDP will stay an attractive number until the other numbers actually move — per capita income, employment for youth, indigenous manufacturing. Govt keeps talking indigenous every month. What matters is whether those press statements show up on the ground. Otherwise all these 10% claims are just in the air.
Greenfield project. One insulation package. Scheduled for 6 months.
Six months in, almost nothing executed — the usual client delays. PO revised. Mechanical completion slips. The 6-month job becomes 12.
Then the twist: 80% of the work to be finished in the last 2 months. Manpower jumps 7x. Six months of work expected in two.
A greenfield project executed like a shutdown.
Unrealistic. Standard practice in construction.

MDR shouldn't exist on it at all, for anyone. It's government-backed infrastructure and must remain free for the public. There's an opportunity to monetize it, sure — but that's exactly why a government shouldn't.
Fine for a private player like Jio (free data to build the habit, monetize later) — not okay for a public utility.
@IndianTechGuide Still a long way to go. GDP growth looks good on paper, but infrastructure, health, and education need serious investment on the ground.
Scaffolding this vessel took a lot of effort. We were short on material, so it went up in parts, one section at a time. Still finished on time. Thanks to the crew who made it happen.
India is also working on #exoskeleton tech — still early and limited. Kota-based Raik Deftech has completed initial trials of its Hanumanta Exo for soldiers. Other countries already have commercial units in construction and logistics.

Not only the cost, the quality of food is also below average. A burger bought directly from McDonald's vs. one via a third party is quality-wise different. I always get a fresh bun and soft patty when I dine in or take away, but orders via third-party apps always come with old, hard buns and an overly fried patty.
Just by increasing the mirchi (spice) in everything, they can't hide the taste of old, used ingredients.
