It’s this Sunday!
Please consider donating if you can’t make it. 100% of the proceeds will go to Lebanese medical students sitting for their USMLE exams.
I am now far removed, but when I was still in Lebanon, I initially thought that the Beirut blast of August 4th was an earthquake. People in Lebanon now thought that the earthquake was another blast… this is beyond sad. This is trauma defined.
@JEK_Psych الاعلام العالمي؟؟؟؟ how delusional! We still believe we are the center of the world when, in fact, we are a mere little piece of dust… When we realize our actual size & potential, & when we cease to be gullible, only then meaningful changes can possibly be achieved.
We are so excited to kick off Healthcare Simulation Week with a photo of board member, Rana Sharara-Chami, MD, with Maybelle Kou, MD, and Joshua Nagler, MD. We are so grateful for your continued efforts in improving the care of infants and children through pediatric simulation!
Now that the yearly conferences of @IPSSorg and @SESAMSimulation are over, I reflect on the importance of our work on the cultural effects on #Simulation debriefing. Share your mental model below.

For the Lebanese expats in the US and elsewhere: if you are hoping to make a dent in the status quo, VOTE tomorrow. Otherwise, expect even more expats. #lebanonelections2022
