I think that Trump renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America is pointless and stupid.
Wanna know what else I think is dumb?
The fact left-wingers are triggered about this after they spent the last decade plus renaming sports teams, public schools and universities, streets and highways, food and condiment brands, and redefining half the dictionary altogether.
Here’s a list of some in case you forgot:

And so on and so on. . .
Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is a real event of history.
He is RISEN!
Skeptical? Here are 10 irrefutable historical facts that show the resurrection of Christ is real:
1) Jesus of Nazareth was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
This is one of the most agreed upon facts of ancient history. Pagan historians like Tacitus, Jewish chroniclers like Josephus, and early Christian sources all converge: Jesus was publicly executed by Roman authority.
No credible historian—Christian or atheist—denies it. The cross was not a theological metaphor; it was a state-sanctioned death penalty, delivered with maximum shame and finality.
2) He was buried in a known, accessible tomb.
The Gospels name Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy member of the Jewish council, as the man who buried Jesus. If this were a fabrication, using a public figure easily investigated by enemies would be self-defeating.
The early Christian creed in 1 Corinthians 15, dated by scholars like James D.G. Dunn to within 5 years of the crucifixion, affirms the burial. This isn’t myth. It’s memory.
3) The tomb was discovered empty by women.
In ancient Jewish society, a woman’s testimony was considered unreliable in court. If the resurrection story were invented, placing women at the center of the discovery would be absurd.
The only reason to report this detail is because it actually happened.
4) Christianity’s fiercest enemies became its loudest witnesses.
Paul (a Pharisee and persecutor) and James (Jesus’ skeptical brother) both claimed to have seen the risen Christ—and their lives were permanently, painfully reoriented.
Paul lost his power and prestige. James abandoned his former doubt and was stoned to death for proclaiming his brother as Lord. What changed them? Not a metaphor. A real encounter with the risen Christ.
5) The disciples were psychologically and morally transformed.
Before the resurrection, they fled, denied, and hid. Afterward, they stood in synagogues and before emperors declaring Jesus as Lord, knowing it would cost them everything.
They didn’t gain wealth or comfort. They gained whips, prisons, and martyrdom. Men don’t die for what they know is a lie—and they had every opportunity to recant.
6) Over 500 people saw Jesus alive—at once.
This is not folklore. Paul documents it in 1 Corinthians 15, saying “most are still alive,” effectively daring his readers to investigate.
Mass hallucinations do not happen to diverse individuals across multiple locations, including skeptics and enemies, over 40 days.
7) The resurrection was proclaimed immediately—not centuries later.
Unlike legends that slowly evolve, the resurrection was preached within weeks in the very city where Jesus was executed.
The early creed embedded in Paul’s letters wasn’t developed by theologians in ivory towers—it was carried in the mouths of fishermen, tax collectors, and former zealots who had seen something they couldn’t unsee.
8) The message launched from Jerusalem—the least convenient location.
If the tomb still had a body in it, Christianity would have been instantly crushed. The Romans and Jewish leaders had every incentive to expose the hoax.
But they couldn’t. Because there was no body to show. And from the epicenter of that threat, the gospel spread like wildfire.
If Jesus was dead, why not show the corpse and end the Christian movement?
9) No natural explanation fits the data.
Stolen body? Then the disciples died for a con they created.
Hallucination? Group sightings, physical contact, and shared meals contradict that.
Legend? There wasn’t time—eyewitnesses were still alive and correcting error.
Only one explanation covers it all: Jesus physically, bodily, historically rose from the dead.
10) The risen Christ continues to change lives today.
Jesus is the most significant historical figure ever. He defeated death, so you may live
Accept Jesus in your heart today. Jesus changes everything

FROM THE EDITORS:
A Shroud for Our Skeptical Times
Reports about recent scientific findings that appear to support the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin garnered widespread coverage in secular media outlets last month.
But none of those media accounts delved into this central question: Assuming the image visible on the fabric of the shroud really is that of the Crucified Christ — supernaturally imprinted there by Jesus himself, as he lay in the tomb between his crucifixion on Good Friday and his resurrection on the first Easter Sunday — why did the Son of God choose to leave behind this scientifically verifiable evidence of his death on the cross?
The answer could be that even though the physical sciences would not develop for another 2,000 years to the point where they could conclusively authenticate the shroud, Jesus already knew that a day was coming when this kind of evidence would be the only way to confirm his resurrected reality to many of the souls who live in the rationalistic and materialistic cultures of today.
Recent media accounts centered on a pair of findings. The first involves research, initially published in 2022, that indicates the shroud is indeed around 2,000 years old and not merely a few hundred years old, as suggested by research conducted in 1988 using a less reliable method of dating the cloth’s age.
That 1988 research was seized upon by skeptics as definitive proof that the shroud was a medieval forgery — even though by that time other scientific evidence, unrelated to the cloth’s dating, persuasively pointed toward the conclusion that the shroud is indeed Jesus’ burial cloth. Perhaps the most powerful evidence is the origin of the image imprinted there: According to researchers, it was caused by an inexplicable, superintense burst of ultraviolet radiation.
The second finding is based on new research into the stains visible on the shroud, in places where it would have come into touch with Christ’s wounded head and body. This research concluded these markings are indeed bloodstains. More remarkably, detailed analysis of the bloodstains’ composition disclosed the presence of particular compounds that correspond closely with how the body of Jesus would have reacted to the grievous injuries that were inflicted on him, according to the biblical account of his passion.
As always, shroud skeptics have rushed to debunk this new research, attempting to indirectly sidestep the latest findings by citing earlier and less sophisticated experiments that didn’t appear to support the shroud’s authenticity.
It’s not the purpose of this editorial to delve further into the specifics of this debate. And it should be noted that the Church itself has never offered a definitive judgement about the shroud’s authenticity, preferring instead to invite more scientific investigations into this still-unsettled question.
But it’s also worth noting that in our increasingly irreligious age, a multitude of people can accept only the judgment of the physical sciences, and not merely when it comes to judging the shroud’s authenticity. They look to the natural sciences as the highest authority regarding every aspect of human existence.
It should also be pointed out that the people who most passionately insist the shroud is a fraud, no matter what evidence to the contrary comes forward, are completely unscientific themselves. They operate from the premise that science has already proved the nonexistence of God and that, therefore, all supernatural claims about the burial cloth must be bunk. Yet in reality the physical sciences don’t address the existence of God at all. They investigate the mechanics of our created universe, not the mechanism by which it was created in the first place.
In earlier eras, scientific evidence was neither available nor required by the majority of people to believe in the truth of physical miracles like the image imprinted on the shroud; to believe in the deeper truth that God is responsible for these miracles; and to believe in the deepest truth of all about Jesus — that the Son of God walked on our Earth 2,000 years ago and suffered and died here on our behalf, for the salvation of our eternal souls.
But that doesn’t mean that these previous generations had no good evidence of miracles. Not at all. As G.K. Chesterton pointed out in his 1908 “spiritual autobiography” Orthodoxy, there has always been abundant historical evidence that miracles occur; it’s only our own skeptical era that refuses to accept that kind of evidence as valid.
Perhaps this is why, in the case of the shroud, so much scientific evidence now is emerging to support the centuries-old belief that it is the actual burial cloth of humanity’s Lord and Savior. Perhaps Jesus himself is gently saying to these skeptics of today, “I realize that, due to the crippled collective lack of faith that afflicts you, you are simply unable to accept any other kind of evidence. Please then take a look at these research findings, delivered via the science that you worship in place of me, and allow them to open your eyes to the Way and the Truth of eternal Life.”

Something people need to understand about the Hegseth pick.
Our military is in crisis.
Our navy can barely build ships anymore. Our army has squandered years of munitions on the Ukraine quagmire.
Our soldiers are out of shape and morale is low.
Our country lost in Afghanistan and is losing right now to Houthis in Yemen.
Our military purged thousands of experienced patriots for not getting a Covid shot.
Professors warn that standards at our service academies have declined precipitously.
Our military had officers pick a fight with Tucker Carlson because he didn’t want pregnant women on the frontlines.
Our military admits mentally ill people who think they are the opposite sex and pays for their unnecessary medical procedures.
Our generals leak to the media about defying orders they might not like from President Trump.
All of this happened with “experienced” establishment generals running things. It’s unacceptable, and if it continues our country will keep losing wars, until we lose one we can’t afford to lose.
We need a SecDef who understands the scale of this problem and is ready for bold, decisive action. We need a smart outsider — and Pete Hegseth is a brilliant man who has thrived in the military, in academia, in finance, and in media. He understands the nature of this crisis and is ready to attack it immediately.
The people complaining think things are fine. They are afraid of losing cushy sinecures and lavish contracts. They want to maintain a failing status quo that works for them.
They should be ignored.

Just the start.
I am running for Senate Republican leader because I believe now is a moment we need dramatic change in Washington to upend the status quo & make sure President Trump’s agenda gets done.
Read the letter I wrote to my colleagues back in May👇
Big high five for all those who repost this. @SenRickScott for SENATE MAJORITY LEADER!
@SenTedCruz help us out here. Change is needed and #WeThePeople are going to apply positive and negative pressure from here on out for all appointments. The U.S. SENATE requires a leader who will support the @realDonaldTrump agenda!
The people who just gave Donald Trump a sweeping mandate do not want Thune or Cornyn to lead the US Senate.
They want Rick Scott. It's very clear.
Share if you agree.
What the hell is going on in the US Senate? Hours after Donald Trump wins the most conclusive mandate in 40 years, Mitch McConnell engineers a coup against his agenda by calling early leadership elections in the senate. Two of the three candidates hate Trump and what he ran on. One of them, John Cornyn, is an angry liberal whose politics are indistinguishable from Liz Cheney’s. The election is Wednesday, it’s by secret ballot, and it will determine whether or not the new administration succeeds. Rick Scott of Florida is the only candidate who agrees with Donald Trump. Call your senator and demand a public endorsement of Rick Scott. Don’t let McConnell get away with it again.
🚨Trump's lawyer Mike Davis issues dark warning to NY AG Letitia James:
"I dare you to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump... listen here, sweetheart, we're not messing around this time and we will put your fatass in prison for conspiracy against rights."
