@Zoya_ki_batein People are confusing fertility with birth rates. While declining fertility can cause decrease in birth rates, I think the UN is referring to the ABILITY to conceive rather than the choice to. It’s concerning that our bodies are not working right to reproduce when we want to
@KianiGranger@sugabelly Actually, forcing women to bear children that will end up either with a mother who does not want them or in foster care is the evil thing to do. Expelling an embryo from the uterus is perfectly fine since a child is not a consequence but a gift for parents who want them 💜
@CamdenAlfrey@y7vx_@ShellyTwis90509@Alea1actaEst8@sugabelly Evolution is considered an observable fact because we can directly witness the genetic frequencies and physical traits of populations changing over short periods. The scientific community overwhelming agrees with this FACT. Ur in denial bud cuz of your religious psychosis
@CamdenAlfrey@y7vx_@ShellyTwis90509@Alea1actaEst8@sugabelly You’re insane to think make believe stories over physical proof of species evolving and the earth developing over billions of years. Keep going deeper into psychosis buddy and focus on ur magical fairy in the sky. Leave laws to us critical thinkers
@CamdenAlfrey@y7vx_@ShellyTwis90509@Alea1actaEst8@sugabelly It is famously not fact. That’s why it’s faith. Every religion thinks theirs is fact. None of them are. There is literal physical evidence of evolution and physical properties of the world. There is no proof of the existence of god. And abortion is health is a fact.
@CamdenAlfrey@y7vx_@ShellyTwis90509@Alea1actaEst8@sugabelly That’s your FAITH. It is not fact. Science is fact. Science proves animals feel pain and have intelligence. It is hypocritical to say slicing open a full formed cow is human but expelling an embryo from a uterus is murder. Yall are in religious psychosis I swear
@CamdenAlfrey@y7vx_@ShellyTwis90509@Alea1actaEst8@sugabelly Then why is freedom of religion in the constitution? And being a Christian scientist does not equate to science being based on Christianity. Many famous scientists and mathematicians were Jewish and atheist so what even is your argument. Faith and science are mutually exclusive
@CamdenAlfrey@y7vx_@ShellyTwis90509@Alea1actaEst8@sugabelly Oh then this is an easy argument! Science and laws are not based on religion and since this country has freedom of religion or lack thereof, you have no argument. I’m an atheist, and since you cannot force me to convert, you cannot tell me not to have an abortion.
@CamdenAlfrey@y7vx_@ShellyTwis90509@Alea1actaEst8@sugabelly Which is why DNRs and cessation of life support exists. I do not believe we have greater value. People who are not okay with abortions but are okay with slaughtering other animals (yes humans are animals) are hypocrites.
@CamdenAlfrey@y7vx_@ShellyTwis90509@Alea1actaEst8@sugabelly I’m not arguing that! It is a living organism. So are bacterial, plants, and viruses. However, it is not a viable sentient being and therefore the laws have backed science in stating that abortions are not murder.
@CamdenAlfrey@y7vx_@ShellyTwis90509@Alea1actaEst8@sugabelly It depends on gestational age in states where “unborn laws” are in effect. It usually requires the fetus to be at least 24 weeks. Laws require abortions to be before 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, they’re only performed when medically necessary.
@CourtneyLC80@iamAtheistGirl The morning after pill does not work during ovulation, meaning you can still get pregnant. it’s only effective before the egg is released.
@LaciGabii@JezziiB Who called it a baby? Not me. It’s an embryo until week 8 and then a fetus until it is removed either via c-section or through the birth canal. Those are the medically used terms. People call it a baby in utero colloquially not scientifically.
