The Lebanese Druse Leader Walid Jumblat, far from being a pro-Hezbollah, said: The 'Lebanese delegation in charge of the negotiations with the Israeli counterpart in Washington, instructed by President Joseph Aoun, is 'more Israeli orientated than Israel itself'.

That is a very serious statement by one of the main players in Lebanon and Syria (Druse of Syria in Suweida).

The Nawaf Salam gov in Lebanon was supposed to be a technocratic gov to do things for the people in a country broken by politics. It ended up being the most incompetent gov in Lebanese history.
