@JamesSurowiecki I do believe that the wildly unpopular sales tax increase that had extremely negative polling shortly before the election passed because of fraud particularly at this time of skyrocketing inflation. Homeless voters aren't concerned about sales tax.
@ggreenwald@barnes_law Kamala was not a convincing peace candidate. She had every opportunity to condemn the genocide in Gaza but didn't which is why she lost the young vote.
General Michael Flynn Ukraine Is Center For Human Trafficking
Why is Ukraine so important?

And money just flows like a river.
You call it Money Laundering
@historyrock_ The seventies were a dark decade for pop music in general. The Brit bands of the sixties had such a range of originality, humor and original, melodic songwriting. A lot of that vanished in the seventies, particularly the humor.
@KalshiPolitics Chevron, Meta and PG&E are fine with Becerra. At least Newsom had a little bit of independence from corporate control. Becerra will have none.
@Neccccy Definitely. It's just one big money laundering operation. It's refreshing to see that some of the European politicians are finally catching on to this.
American consumers are now facing 7%+ mortgage rates, 4.2%+ inflation, and a 30% loss in the purchasing power of the US Dollar since 2020.
Meanwhile, US CPI inflation continues to follow a similar trajectory as the late 1970s.
Will history repeat itself?
@CHRISsW0RLD@TheLizVariant Republicans on the other hand are perfectly happy to destroy the US economy by fighting a war on behalf of a small country in the middle east that has never done them any good. Listen to Thomas Massie and Ron Paul. Take our country back!
@AdamSchiff I am tired of being told I need to vote for corporate Democrats backed by Chevron, Meta, PG&E etc. and also for candidates who are not sincerely pro peace. This is the Plattner/Mamdani era, not the Schiff/Becerra era.
@RedactedNews@mufon It's all just marketing for the Spielberg movie which doesn't sound that exciting to me. The only alien or UFO story worth watching is the old Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man" where the aliens claim to be our benefactors but show up with a cookbook.
@PigeonThePress I would rather vote for a Democrat with progressive policies who financed his campaign out of his own pocket than for a candidate whose campaign was financed by Chevron, Meta and the utilities companies to which he will be beholden if he wins in November.
