@Kelly7018@krassenstein Have you seen the other angles, specifically one where it shows this ICE goon removing this gun from the holster around Alex’s waist? Alex didn’t reach for it as his hands were out in front of him on the ground.
@gregbradyx This is a bad take. I’m sure there’s plenty of things Carney can be criticized on but for going out and trying to get deals done in the interest of Canada… that’s brutally desperate.
@Gray_Mackenzie He walked away because he knew he said something dumb… again. So he left it hanging so it couldn’t be challenged. He’s been brutal of late.
This is laughably false, she's regurgitating the "Canada is broken" mantra. Canada has among the highest living standards in the world, higher than the US, and our advantage vs the US is growing. My critique of 'per capita GDP' BS for @IRPP provides deets: https://t.co/GZ2plcfmd9
The number of people trying to explain to me that she meant we have the lowest standard of living in the OECD and thinking that they are making a clever point is depressing. Canada's GDP per capita is about 7x larger than the lowest in the OECD, and AB's is the highest in Canada.
There’s irony in this statement, right? The dude who is literally squatting in an official residence, provided by the government, at taxpayers’ expense complaining about the need to fix up the Prime Minister’s residence… this is some next level hypocrisy.

"We don't need a new home for the prime minister. We need a new home for working-class Canadians," Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says when asked about report the federal govt is exploring alternative site to 24 Sussex to build new official residence for the PM.

Canada is seeing the WORSE measles outbreak in a generation
Conservatives have NOT asked a single question about this outbreak - the last time ANY Conservative brought up measles was 2 years ago, that was only to compare it to Covid
SHAMEFUL c @Red_Toryism
Yesterday, I met with Prime Minister @MarkJCarney face-to-face for the first time since he became Canada's PM.
While there appears to be a desire to move forward with new projects, including a west coast bitumen pipeline, I still need to make him the boogeyman of Alberta.

This is an interesting interview, and anyone interested in Alberta should listen to it if only to hear what the Alberta NDP is up against. Smith is a very skilled storyteller.
But that's just it: they're stories. I'll dig into one in particular.
Yup, it's thread-o-clock. 🧵
@KenTurner7@MichaelCooperMP No it’s not. @michaelcoopermp is full of shit. He’s trying to confuse a corporation’s money with the personal assets of Carney. He’s implying fraud when no laws were broken. He’s trying to imply that Carney is hiding his assets when he’s completed the proper oversight. And so on.
Notice that Pierre Poilevre’s plan for the homeless doesn’t include living in a taxpayer funded mansion with a chef, driver and servants.
That’s only for him.
