A man bought a piece of land in 2008 for less than ₦1 million and forgot about it for years. Recently, he decided to locate the property and discovered that the land is now worth about ₦75 million.

The problem is that the land has no access road. To resolve the issue, he approached the family of the original seller, whose wife is still alive. Instead of discussing how access could be provided, the woman suggested buying the land back from him, since it was right behind their compound.

When he asked how much she was willing to pay, she offered ₦800,000.

Imagine owning a property worth ₦75 million and someone offers you less than ₦1 million for it simply because it currently has no access road.

Well, the man said he is no longer willing to sell again.
