Iran's Ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadegh, says a new decision regarding flights between #Iran and #Iraq could be announced soon, noting that Tehran remains in contact with Iraqi officials and has submitted proposals on the matter.

Al-e Sadegh said approximately 25 flights daily operate from Iran to Najaf, and around 15 flights to Baghdad.

He added that around 12,000 to 13,000 people travel between the two countries via Iranian airlines via these routes, stressing that the figure represents a significant volume of passengers.
