These sound funny, like Shakespearean insults (I bite my thumb at you), but Jesus' words were harsher than the F-bomb would be in today's culture.

@ThankGodForBTC Yes. Bible is clear, even if the Christians aren't. "Cursed is the man who trusts in man." There's numerous CLEAR verses about the error of trusting humans. Too many believers substitute a spouse's or pastor's faith for their own relationship with Christ. Learn to hear HIS voice.

@magnaliafdn @GingerSherpa History tells us things go VERY badly for "post-Christian" societies like the West. BTW, there's ZERO bible verses that confirm a rapture into heaven.
Of course, it would be just like the Lord to wait until it's darkest before pulling a rabbit out of his hat with another revival

Interviewer is wrestling with reality vs his theology (which states things should be getting better not worse). Theology vs Reality..... not looking good the post/a mils.

1) punishes people who follow evil leaders. 2) rewards people who disobey evil leaders. if your Christian theology doesn't understand that, you will appeal to Rom. 13 while you submit to the antichrist in Rev. 13.

@jordanbush @ThankGodForBTC but then I'm a Christian Anarchist, so i believe the bible teaches the church is God's government, earthly government is the devil's counterfeit-a generally evil tool to be avoided even though God uses it for his purpose (like he uses Satan or Babylon or Ahab).

@jordanbush 1:07:00 The amount of times you guys insist "You MUST belong to a church" and never (not once) tell your listeners what qualifies as a church, is regrettable. It's not simply a box you check off, it's closer to a marriage you enter. Choose carefully--not just any girl will do.
