@ZeroHedge_ Have lots of children so your kids are socialized by their brothers and sisters. You've seen the average American. You don't want your kids being socialized by their peers.
@ZeroHedge_ Homeschool. Teach them how to run their own business and make money. School beyond 8th grade isn't practical until they KNOW what they want to do and WANT to learn something. The internet can teach anything they want anyways.
@justme155537439@BitQua I hope you follow a religion of peace, as Jesus did. A man once said "There is no compulsion in religion." If God does not force you to worship him (not yet anyway), we should not force others either.
@justme155537439@BitQua Meh, join the club. Hilter called himself a Christian too. The Bible says Jesus gets angry, not ashamed. Commandment #3 - Do not carry the Lord's name in vain. If you claim it, you better live it. All hypocrites get burned in the fire (if you believe what the Bible says).
@Tyler_Neville_@fejau_inc@qthomp@ForwardGuidance Don't forget, even Jesus swore when the leaders were abusing the people. "brood of vipers", "white-washed tombs". These sound funny, like Shakespearean insults (I bite my thumb at you), but Jesus' words were harsher than the F-bomb would be in today's culture.
@ThankGodForBTC Yes. Bible is clear, even if the Christians aren't. "Cursed is the man who trusts in man." There's numerous CLEAR verses about the error of trusting humans. Too many believers substitute a spouse's or pastor's faith for their own relationship with Christ. Learn to hear HIS voice.
@magnaliafdn@GingerSherpa History tells us things go VERY badly for "post-Christian" societies like the West. BTW, there's ZERO bible verses that confirm a rapture into heaven.
Of course, it would be just like the Lord to wait until it's darkest before pulling a rabbit out of his hat with another revival
@magnaliafdn@GingerSherpa AI success doesn't threaten the Lordship of Christ, it threatens humans' theology. This is always the case. Interviewer is wrestling with reality vs his theology (which states things should be getting better not worse). Theology vs Reality..... not looking good the post/a mils.
@jordanbush To the proof-texters: The Bible is clear, God consistently:
1) punishes people who follow evil leaders. 2) rewards people who disobey evil leaders. if your Christian theology doesn't understand that, you will appeal to Rom. 13 while you submit to the antichrist in Rev. 13.
The good Lord places many distractions in our path (money, popularity, sex, etc.) for the precise purpose of showing us our allegiance. He already knows your heart, but before you will plead for the cure, you must know it too.
@jordanbush@ThankGodForBTC but then I'm a Christian Anarchist, so i believe the bible teaches the church is God's government, earthly government is the devil's counterfeit-a generally evil tool to be avoided even though God uses it for his purpose (like he uses Satan or Babylon or Ahab).
@JOBhakdi Anyoneaf serious should start with a good quality children's bible. Learn over arching story and context to appreciate the adult version well. here's an excellent one, finish in 2 hours of reading: The Complete Illustrated Children's Bible by Janice Emmerson
@sweatystartup You start with a good quality children's bible. Need to learn over arching story and context to appreciate the adult version well. here's an excellent one, finish in 2 hours of reading: The Complete Illustrated Children's Bible by Janice Emmerson
@jamesrwoodtheo Doesn't the good book say that exactly? "If you aren't a good parent, you can't be a church leader." (1 Tim 3:4+ RGP) If only Christians read their Bibles...
If your skills can't produce a Christian family, why would God want you leading HIS family?
@jordanbush 1:07:00 The amount of times you guys insist "You MUST belong to a church" and never (not once) tell your listeners what qualifies as a church, is regrettable. It's not simply a box you check off, it's closer to a marriage you enter. Choose carefully--not just any girl will do.
