I HATE glitter.
5yo spills a load of it on my work bag. She gets upset.
Me: It’s ok (lie), it’s not much (big lie), it will easily come off (bigger lie), people at work will be super jealous (enormous lie).
5yo: Haha. Let’s put more on!
Pours more on my bag.
Me:
Why does the boy find every toy that makes a noise when i need him to be quite.
Pregnant mummy needs sleep.
Solution: systematically remove all batteries from toys.

3am in the morning and the Boy is coughing, give him some water and settle him down with a cuddle.
I wake up at 6am in his bed still cuddling.
So today I will be suffering with a bad back and lack of sleep but wouldn't change it for the world.
The Boy has built a bridge out of the sofa cushions and the floor is now a river with Crocodiles in it. So for the last 10 mins I have been fighting with an imaginary Crocodile to the sound of laughter from the Boy.
