@EricBalchunas@syouth1 Interesting premise. I don't think of the 2x ETFs as being 2x the reference security, more like the reference security plus the volatility of the reference security. Sometimes that helps, sometimes it hurts.
@hulu why would the default for the MLB game be Spanish for me? I have literally never watched any of the Spanish channels, how do you not know that? The number of messed up bugs with you is endless, the bugs never end.
@nxthompson I live in Prescott. We collectively vote for terrible representation in Congress and I'm sure boot licker Andy Biggs will win our county in the Governor race.
.@RyanSerhant told me the wealthiest people talk like optimists and prepare like pessimists.
"They’re always thinking about what could go wrong internally while planning publicly where everything’s going to go right."
It’s a healthy fear.
They’re “always preparing for what could go wrong so that in the moment that something goes wrong, they can be opportunistic.”
They don’t just prepare to survive the worst. They prepare to profit from it.
@JRiz13 The decline in 2022 was probably not real. Funds dropped in price over concerns that Hurricane Ian would cause triggering events but that didn't happen and things snapped back quickly. it has been a while since there has been a triggering event so yields are a little lower now.
@bespokeinvest I've long thought they are a great proxy/substitute for investing in the PE deals. Sometimes that's additive to portfolios and sometimes, like now, it's not but it least there's daily liquidity and no fees.
