Pakistan is restoring area names in Lahore 🇵🇰
Islampura → Krishan Nagar
Rehman Gali → Ram Gali
Sunnat Nagar → Sant Nagar
Babri Masjid Chowk → Jain Mandir Chowk
Mustafabad → Dharampura
Pakistan is secure in its identity and being an Islamic State it never fears other religions or cultures.
Now compare this with the so-called secular country "India" 🇮🇳 👀
"Every film takes a stand, unfair to label it propaganda just for disagreement.
Free societies allow individuals to propagate ideas;loved Dhurandhar 1."

I read the Collider interview so you don’t have to…
Here’s what really comes through from Namit Malhotra about #Ramayana, but this time a bit more fleshed out, the way you’d actually explain it to someone:
1. They’re already deep into shooting Part 2, which tells you this isn’t a wait-and-watch production but something that’s been planned at scale from day one.
2. The film isn’t being positioned as just a big Indian project trying to catch up, but rather as a global-scale cinematic event that, in their own words, should stand shoulder to shoulder with franchises like The Lord of the Rings and Avatar, which sets an extremely high benchmark right from the start.
3. Their core philosophical pitch is that #Ramayana is not inspired by global epics but actually precedes them, and therefore what they are attempting is not imitation but presenting what they believe is the original template of epic storytelling to a worldwide audience.
4. Unlike most big films where writers build drama and spectacle from scratch, here the team believes that the Ramayana already contains deeply layered character arcs, emotional conflicts, and large-scale battles, so their job is less about adding cinematic elements and more about translating what already exists into a visual medium.
5. Because of that, the film is not expected to follow a conventional three-act screenplay structure, but instead unfold more like a continuous narrative where events, conflicts, and character journeys flow organically rather than building toward a single structured climax.
6. A strong emphasis is being placed on character journeys, with the idea that if audiences truly connect with the emotional evolution of characters like Ram and Ravana, then the spectacle will feel earned rather than imposed.
7. Interestingly, despite being one of the most VFX-heavy Indian films ever attempted, the stated priority is not to overwhelm the audience with spectacle but to ensure that everything feels seamless and grounded within the story, almost to the point where the visual effects shouldn’t draw attention to themselves.
8. The film is being consciously designed for a global audience, especially those unfamiliar with the Ramayana, which means the storytelling has to work both as an introduction for new viewers and as a faithful retelling for those who already know the epic.
9. The decision to tell the story in two parts is presented not as a commercial gimmick but as a necessity, given that earlier adaptations like the iconic TV version spanned years, making compression into even two films a significant challenge.
10. While the exact runtime is still undecided, it is clear that the film will lean toward a longer format, likely in the 2.5 to 3-hour range, with the underlying philosophy being that audiences shouldn’t feel the length if they are fully immersed in the narrative.
11. IMAX has been integrated into the filmmaking process from the very beginning, including camera tests and visual framing decisions, which suggests that the scale of the film is being designed natively for large-format viewing rather than adapted later.
12. From a technical standpoint, Malhotra emphasizes a more integrated approach to VFX, where all departments collaborate early so that visual effects enhance storytelling efficiently rather than becoming a costly afterthought.
13. One of the most interesting aspects is the music, with Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman collaborating, and Malhotra describing his first listening experience as emotionally overwhelming even without visuals, hinting that the score could play a major role in the film’s impact.
14. Overall, the intent is to create not just a film but a full theatrical experience, where audiences come in expecting scale, emotion, and immersion, rather than a quick, fast-paced blockbuster.
I will not defend the movie.. as Ramayan jab bhi chalegi sirf emotions pe chalegi..
No level of AI or VFX will matter if the emotions connect.
As far as irrational haters are concerned (not the genuine feedback)..bolo JAI SHRI RAM🙏
Ramayana has been a part of my life since my childhood, from Ramanand Sagar's version to Gurmeet Chaudhary's version
And I always wondered that what would lord Ram look like in a large budget, large scale movie or series like Hollywood films.
I hope Namit Malhotra's Ramayana is the answer to that question
People asking for “real locations” should remember #Ramayana is backed by @dneg, a VFX-driven studio. Their strength is visual storytelling, not outdoor shoots, and the result already looks impressive. This approach is clearly aimed at attracting a global Studios.
Rama is the greatest of all time because he lived a life where the choices he made were always in the benefit of the greater good, duty over desire, and sacrifice over self.
