Remember the Eze negotiations. Gibbs-White, while we look back with hindsight, he was a nonstop nitpicker who constantly picked, cheap high-risk youth over established players.

@JESnowden The part that amazes me is how well AEW readjusted after the Punk saga. Look at TNA and WCW for proof of how highly polarizing talent can destroy companies.

AEW today contains no vestiges of it's growing pains era. They've matured well.

@simonyemane Yes, I tend to agree, but give us a few seasoned players who are great in the now. I love Vuskovic and Bergvall, but I am tired of focusing on players with potential.
Take a page out of the NY Knicks trophy-drought ending playbook. Potential is just risk with a different name.

@WrestlingMark16 I really dislike most possessed gimmicks because they are missing the pain/torture of existence with them. People want the power without the sacrifice.
I didn't like it in the beginning, but Blackheart Lio Rush won a lot of us over with his boldness.

@InvertTheWing @AaradH14 Romero is an incredible defender, but his downsides include demanding captaincy and then showing complete immaturity. Also his emotional flare-ups when we are behind are detrimental.

@AIRGold_ I disagree with this sentiment. We've seen Max do this time and time again. He revels in it and if we are going fully in, the "Labors of Jericho" path is something he created and can probably handle.

Darby is the cold, harsh reality that MJF didn't expect.
