Funding Klaxon! We are taking the government to court to give local areas the powers to plan for climate change and we need your help – thread incoming…
In Feb 2024 we won our #SaltCrossGardenVillage case in the High Court.
@DannyYee@terrymac51@daisychristo My kids love reading, and writing, but hate English GCSE. Does not help doing the same books as 40 years ago - Lord of the Flies etc - were dated even then
Oxford's traffic problem's are long-standing. They go back to 2020... 2016... 2013... 1961... 1937...
We will only reduce traffic problems with a credible plan to reduce traffic, and despite lots of rhetoric, there is currently only one plan proposed.

Starmer’s new climate policy is unforgivable https://t.co/CFiekWqZMZ Starmer's denying the science on managing climate change. He's pursuing lousy economics, with the likelihood that most, if not all, of his new investment money will be wasted. And he's gambling with our security in a way that we cannot afford. That is unforgivable.
Today, campaigners hand-delivered a petition to Attorney General Richard Hermer KC, at the Ministry of Justice.
Signed by over 60K people, the petition calls for an end to the imprisonment of peaceful protesters, including the #WholeTruthFive

The energy mix of Great Britain over the last 12 months.
😃 What excites me is that wind + solar is generating more electricity than gas power stations

Britain is about to switch off its last coal power station. MyGridGB has been tracking coal use for 10 years now. From supplying 40% of our electricity when I started my PhD to today… it’s been quite the journey.
So, bye bye King Coal. It’s time for renewables now
I’ve learned a lot helping my family get my dad into hospice but one of the biggest realizations I’ve had is that our country is facing a geriatric financial time bomb. It is absolutely insane how much elder care costs. For my family if we were to have someone 24/7 it’s $450k a year
Climate defenders everywhere are being penalised for trying to protect the planet, when the true culprits are profiting from people’s suffering.
Double standards and hypocrisy are destroying our planet.
