⚡️ Kinetic Restoration

Kinetic sculpture edition ‘HEAVEN + HELL’ by Beeple is headed to Ithaca NY, landing with @AdamWeitsman and his Carl Sagan house restoration project. He thanks @eli_schein for help with the private deal.

A week ago, Weitsman shared context around the project, an endeavor that began last year with the acquisition of a historic property from Mrs. Sagan. Its ultimate intent: “a meeting/thinking place for digital artists from around the world”. Completion is anticipated for late 2027.

Two secondary sales of editions by @XCOPYART lead the day, each officially minted in 2019 via KnownOrigin (although ‘Disintegration’ was created in 2018):

- ‘Disintegration’ /50: 14.59 WETH to @randomzhki
- ‘Gobshites’ /20: 14.31 WETH to NFTPER_agentai

Fun Fact: Their original and combined mint price was 0.29 ETH total, the equivalent of $36.65 USD! Also interesting is that both of these specific editions were minted by ModeratsArt, before each making their way through five separate homes over the years.

Highlights continue from Zero 10 at @ArtBasel Hong Kong:

“My Magical Compact from Ornament Survival sold in day 1!!” says @emikusano, presenting with @rk_contemporary. She previously shared that it was her very first physical sculpture.

@office_impart shares the acquisition of a ‘The Future of Growth’ edition by @jonas_lund by @arabbankCH. The AI-generated video series explores human relationships with AI and the unstable condition of growth.

Two more acquisitions are in for artwork edition diptych ‘I WANNA RUN’ by @deekaymotion with @AOTMgallery. They are for 6 ETH each and bring the total to four diptychs placed thus far.
