@WindyCOYS Racist scum. The court case in Amsterdam proved without doubt that the "Jew Hunt" (in the attacker's own words) was organised on WhatsApp before the Maccabi fans even arrived. To tie in the weekend's events, which were caused by Hapoel and not Maccabi fans, is pathetic. Wanker.
@NathanAClark Just so everyone's aware, the cab drivers planned the pogrom on WhatsApp before the Maccabi fans arrived.
Many of the chant translations are false and could not be understood by locals anyway.
The attackers literally called it a "Jew Hunt" in their group https://t.co/nWghy0cqg5
I go back-and-forth between never wanting to talk about Israel again and wanting to talk about it all the time. I was born and raised there and served in the IDF, and my entire family is sitting in bomb shelters atm. It’s deeply personal but important to me so here goes.(1/10)
@MsRightMsRight You've obviously never set foot inside a lab and failed GCSE science so maybe shut up when it comes to viruses. You are just exposing yourself as an idiot and your cult of morons are an embarrassment to this country.
@MsRightMsRight Hey, moron. There is something called host specificity - most viruses have a narrow host range of 1-3 species because they are adapted to latch on to host-specific cell receptors.
You are really thick if you think a virus that infects humans should infect all other species.
@thetimes Once again it's "men dying, women most affected"
Her whole shtick is embarrassing. An insanely privileged woman trying to claim oppression points.
In this case, she's lying too. Almost everyone has suffered economically and men have died more on top of that.
@thetimes I wonder if you would ever describe a woman's appearance the way you have described Jose in the article.
Appalling, sexist double standard but sadly normal for this writer and this paper.
@suzigodson @thetimes The vast majority of the 22.9% report that their sexual assault was "unwanted sexual touching" or "indecent exposure" which leaves the respondent able to report incidents that would never legally be classed as sexual assault. It's junk science and notoriously unreliable.
@suzigodson @thetimes The crime survey has nothing to do with police reports and the seriousness is not evaluated.
It simply asks if the respondent has experienced an offence (e.g. Unwanted sexual touching) without defining the term so the decision on seriousness rests with the respondent.
@suzigodson @thetimes Also misleading to quote the "1 in 4 women has been sexually assaulted" stat without the context of what that "study" counts as sexual assault. For example, if a date misreads your signs and tries to kiss you that would be counted.
This is how feminism gaslights people.
@suzigodson @thetimes Pretty disgraceful to quote the "90% of rape victims are female" stat without mentioning that's because the UK only counts rape when done with a penis. And when "made to penetrate" is counted as rape, men report being raped at similar rates to women.
Doesn't fit The Times agenda
Fifteen years ago today, the Group of 88 released its statement about the Duke lacrosse case. The Duke profs affirmed that something "happened" to the accuser & told protesters-who had, among other things, urged the castration of the lacrosse captains-"thank you for not waiting."
@mayhewsjb @thetimes Only a real smoothbrain would think that calling out this overt sexism makes you a bigot.
You seem threatened by someone standing up to this - says more about you than me.
@thetimes Once again, The Times is acting as a willing mouthpiece for raging misandrists and feminist bigots. At least it seems people are now seeing through this and there is pushback on your insidious agenda.
@thetimes Also, the legitimisation of the ridiculous term "rape culture" is pathetic. It is literally the case that society abhors rape and seeks to punish and criminalise these actions with studies showing that people wish to punish boys far harsher than girls for these offences.
@maayalily @MsLucyBerry @thetimes@NeilJohnston29 The misandry behind it was absolutely serious and you people are actually hilarious. Please show records of men forcing women to stay inside after dark for "centuries".
Essentially, you want revenge for perceived slights rather than equality. It's extremely telling.
@TimWatt32880963 @MsLucyBerry @thetimes@NeilJohnston29 She's not educating, she's being a condescending prick - as are you.
Survey data are unreliable for rape and when you consider "made to penetrate" as rape, men report being raped at the same rates.
Besides, this isn't about rape, it's about abduction and murder - extremely rare
