@balefulrays Forgive me if you've answered this question, but are you taking clients again? Last I saw, you were going through your backlog. Please let me know, if you could be so kind!
@jessehawken Agree 100% on MEGALOPOLIS. The hubris and decay feels very spot on.
CODA feels to me more like a late-era Obama film. You could argue that it's sort of a hangover film of that era, which sort of exemplifies Biden, to a degree.
@jessehawken I got into your podcast after your appearance on Chapo where you went over the definitive movies of the Trump 1 Era.
Will you do a follow up where you go over your picks for the Biden era?
@AlexJaffe@InsertCredit You've been tasked to design a GTA game based on your home town. Following the example set by other Rockstar Games, what's the name of the city and who are are the protagonists?
@xoxogossipgita Since I Left You by the Avalanches-a masterpiece so intimidating that it took the band 16 years to create their follow up. A maximalist ode to sampling the sounds of the 20th century.
@jessehawken Gotcha.
I definitely think it should get re-release later this year. Saw it back in April in a rowdy theatre and had a blast. Easily the best thing I’ve seen all year.
Been a huge fan of Rajamouli since EEGA. His last couple of movies would be great for the podcast.
@ZacBeThompson *way* better. The season 2 premier is a great reset of the series. You can feel that the writers felt that they had wiffed the first season.
