@jacobzanolla He's 12th in the NL in on-base-percentage. Stunning improvement from last year. And significantly ahead of all other NL center fielders, making his all-star game voting snub seem absurd.
This will be the 5th consecutive week with US Treasury auctions on 4 days of the week. Previously, auctions were typically just Tue-Thurs. How long till we go to 5 days a week?
@ChrisGloninger I addressed why the UAH data is not believable in this post. It goes a bit deeper into why the UAH dataset is so flawed. https://t.co/hSg5ocBmF4
@KingKong9888 Timing is key. I've been in and out of Barrick stock. Over the last few years am in the black. But my current holding is down 21.5% (purchased between 12/26 and 3/19)
@DrNeilStone@DrNeilStone Many of the trolls responding to your posts are conflating Covid vaccines with restrictions placed on healthy young people. The vaccine saved millions of lives. The restrictions placed on healthy young people seemingly were overdone. Appropriate for you to address?
@DrNeilStone I'm immune compromised due to chemotherapy meds. Avoided crowds during the height of Covid, but attended an out of town funeral for a brother-in-law. It was a super spreader event. Got Covid. But it was no worse than the flu. Very thankful I was vaccinated.
JD Vance's seeming failure to comprehend why Ukraine is unwilling to surrender their fortress belt in the Donbas to the Russians brings to mind another corporal. This infamous German WWI corporal made terrible strategic errors in a war against Russia during WWII.
If I was selling life insurance to the Iranians negotiating with Trump, the price would be exorbitant. Seems to me they may be in danger from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard and other related groups.
@DonaldW60852684 If the estimated 1st Qtr earnings being shown by Charles Schwab of $0.29 is accurate, then HL may be fairly valued. But given price of silver this quarter, only estimating $0.29 seems absurdly low. Last qtr $0.22 vs $0.18 estimate
@ThHappyHawaiian Earnings and guidance will be revealing. Charles Schwab website shows these dates:
HL - 2/12
CDE - 2/18
PAAs - 2/18
AG - 2/19
EXK - 2/27
@InProved_Metals I've switched from going long on silver trading to other commodities (gold, oil, cattle) due to increase in spreads between bid and ask. Also higher margin requirements. At least for me, silver futures have become untradable. Tight spreads may be a factor in the huge SLV volume
@jessebday The spread on the SI and SIL futures contracts between buy and sell prices tonight are huge. I got lucky and made a small profit on the only silver futures trade I'm making until the spreads are back down to 2-3 ticks. Seems like at least partially an impact of margin increases
@andrewrsorkin It would be informative if CNBC had a guest to explain to Joe that local weather, which is highly variable, does not refute climate change. Heat waves in Australia, Africa, and Greenland and Arctic are warm. Ratio of daily high temp records to cold is close to 3:1
@MikeLevin Some parts of Australia are forecast to reach 50 degrees C (over 120 degrees F). Hmmm, so does that prove global warming is a thing, or instead that weather is highly variable. Daily cold weather temp records still being set, but only about a 1/3rd as often as hot record temps
@TaviCosta I've been touting triple digit silver since 2021. But I thought the rally would stall out at the century mark. Made a pile of money this morning selling the rallies. But gave half of it back at midday due to thinking selling SI futures at $100.65 was a good trade. It wasn't
