The crowd outside the Brooklyn Park Police Department grew to over 30 at 5 pm but quickly dropped to 15 or 20 as word spread about a rally for George Floyd at the Hennepin Country Govt Center going on now. People piled into cars and headed downtown.
At 4 pm today it’s all quiet outside the Brooklyn Center Police Department. Several National Guard members are behind two layers of fencing, talking to each other. A handful of protesters are sitting in their cars on this brisk afternoon and there are occasional snowflakes.
