i was in an accident yesterday morning on my way to work. My face and hands are stitched up. I cracked a vertabra in my neck but otherwise I'm ok. No pain. My first reaction was tro praise and thank God for taking cAre of me
Covenants aren't meant to be broken.
His is everlasting, unchanged through time.
The blood covenant established on the cross is just as powerful today as it was the day Jesus was crucified.
It's the blood.
It heals. It restores. It protects.
As a believer in Christ, you're covered.
Wear your faith openly. Never be ashamed.
It's always been about the blood.
Restoration. Healing. A new beginning.
Only through His blood.
Remember the power.
It hasn't weakened. It hasn't faded. It never will.
Stop and listen.
Let the blood of Jesus whisper to your heart.
@JonnyRoot_ thank you for that Jon.I agree with everything he said.I too am a Chrisrian and I pray for my leaders and this nation as well as for the peace of Jerusalem
@SirBylHolte Watch the Robert Bork hearings. That was the beginning of the Democrats (by any means necessary) politics of personal destruction for me.
They're Godless and evil to their core. Every day they get worse.
God's Daily Promise
Those who overcome will not be hurt by the second death.
Revelation 2:11 (WEB)
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.
He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death.
We have a fantastic future in store for us! We do not have to fear judgment because Jesus promises that the second death will not hurt those who overcome. When I think of this promise, I think of the verse in 1 Corinthians 15:55 that says... "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" (NIV)
Praise God that death no longer has a sting over us! We don't have to live in fear of death because our Elder Brother Jesus has conquered death and sin and the grave once and for all. Another Bible verse that comes to mind is from Hebrews 2:14-15...
14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery. (ESV)
Jesus has destroyed the one who once held the power of death so that we can experience true life and freedom from the fear of death! To echo again the words of 1 Corinthians 15:55... "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" (NIV)
The WNBA playing a potential championship game at 12:30 et on a random Thursday afternoon is a perfect example of how the entire league is run by morons.
