Karmelo Anthony is guilty of murdering Austin Metcalf.

I see a lot of people saying that this is justice, but sadly, there is no justice in a case like this.

Austin Metcalf is dead.

That cannot be undone.

Austin was robbed of his graduation, first job, wedding, his children. His family were robbed of decades of life with him. Countless moments of happiness, joy, humor.

There is simply no earthly justice when it comes to a terrible crime like this. It's not possible. We can only pray for God's divine justice.

And this is exactly why policies matter.

You cannot make up for murder after the fact. So what do we do?

We ensure that violent criminals aren't given a chance to re-offend.

And when it comes to would-be murderers, like Karmelo Anthony was, we make sure that a clear message is sent through prosecutions: that violence is not tolerated.

Pray for Austin Metcalf. Pray for his family. Pray for an end to this senseless violence.

- A birth tourism network in West Africa has been dismantled. 100 foreign nationals used fraudulent documents to get visas to give birth in the U.S. Their visas have all been revoked

- In Europe they identified more than 400 birth tourism cases since 2024. State Dept shut it down, revoked their visas, and permanently banned several fraudsters from traveling to the U.S.

- U.S. embassy in North Africa revoked over 100 visas for parents who came to the U.S. to give birth so their children would get U.S. citizenship.
