@TechlandGames I've been posting a lot of video of my playthrough, but I don't think I really have the heart to continue if my basic crafting recipes are lost.

@TechlandGames Hey, I just hit a soft-lock trying to sleep at a tower in Dying Light: The Beast, so I restarted the game ... and I lost all my inventory (replaceable) AND all my crafting recipes (NOT replaceable ..?)
Are you guys aware of this bug, and is there a solution?
@JayExci I've been rewatching your old videos and having a great nostalgic time! I hope everything's going well with you. I've been avoiding Twitter, so I haven't really gotten to see much that you've produced lately. Is there anywhere else you're active?
@ZenOfDesign It's weird how people's judgment of other people is so subconsciously driven that certain folks are incredibly vulnerable to minor embarrassments, and some folks only benefit from it, getting stronger with every weird thing they do, and there's no rational EXPLANATION.
How, in the year 2024, are we STILL seeing conservatives crow about big red low-density counties in blue states, like land area equals voting power?
Are they just engagement farming? They HAVE to know they're wrong by now, right?
Just read the insights of Jeff Bezos in his opinion piece in The Post. I wasn't going to join 200,000 others and cancel my subscription because doing so won't hurt Bezos -- he paid more for his yachts than his newspaper -- and, yes, the Post newsroom where good people, and some friends still labor continues providing meaningful journalism. But, my god, this man's insipid defense of his own transparent cowardice is provoking.
I cancelled. I wasn't going to do it. I probably shouldn't, and certainly, if this technobrat oligarch ever releases his grip on what needs to be an independent newsroom and editorial board, indifferent to the financial positions of its publisher, then I'll return. But this kind of abuse of a public trust by a publisher is unacceptable.
@ycsm1n I'm annoyed that these antics turn WAY more people against them than they could possibly convert to their way of thinking. It's the kind of move you make when you want to lose but feel superior while doing it.
I want to win?
@ABeeWords @nosuchthing I feel like I've had my cultural horizons broadened!
Sequel's great, by the way! I'm working through it slowly, lots of distractions these days, but I'm having a great time! I love that you stuck with the first-chapter twist thing from the first book ๐
How is it that I've never heard of "conkers" before, but in the same day, I heard mention of it BOTH from @nosuchthing and @ABeeWords, in different audio media?
It means the Democrats are much further from their extreme wing than the Republicans are. The Republicans right now are exactly what their hardest-right crazies want in office.
The Democrats are just stable, professional moderates who want to do their jobs well.
Conservatives sometimes try to tell me that the Democrats are just as extreme as the Republicans, in the other direction.
But the far right is the GOP's most die-hard voting bloc, and the far left are constantly working AGAINST the Democrats. I think that means something.
@Cecilyjk At this point, only time passing and things going well can ease my anxiety, and the fact that I can't convince myself that that is likely is the original cause of my anxiety.
