We still use all of these today.. What foresight!
@Rangutang@undeadlabs We're asking for one toggle for a last-minute feature that has angered many veteran players and led to hours of frustration. How much suffering must be endured to justify this option? How much enjoyment has to die?
Options make people's lives better. In @undeadlabs' State of Decay 2, to make "rivers slow you down" optional on PC, google sod2 No Water Drag. You don't have to suffer like this @rangutang. https://t.co/H6KoUg2TnC
Since @wushustudios neglected to provide it, I asked a #SOD2 modder and they delivered! A standalone mod to toggle off @brantfitzgerald's slow water "feature" in State of Decay 2 https://t.co/atIroXgVue
This is dreadfully comical. Xbox dashboard tile reads "use less power, help the Earth" which leads to "customize power options". Implying individual people's power usage matters. A message from Microsoft, a company leading the way on A.I. which uses massive amounts of power.
I can't trust @undeadlabs on #accessibility. @Rangutang I don't constantly mention #SOD2's ugly gun hud for your laughs. The white gun image does in fact overstimulate my vision. @jawafawa dismissively responded with ~"the white doesn't bother me". Your "inclusion" excludes me.
@FalldownStream@undeadlabs@RanhothChord@jawafawa Not asking for internal details. In traps case just blips on a map. An open system wouldn't require reduntant doc'ing of existing bugs, they'd be ticked w/"seen this". Freeing players to focus on find undoc'd bugs. Devs could easily ask for bugs to be reproduced, fully reported.
I oppose the @undeadlabs bug policy of siloing bug info rather than sharing known issues. I'm not letting it slide. I don't trust them to improve. I have unwishlisted State of Decay 3.
@FalldownStream@undeadlabs@RanhothChord@jawafawa Bug has multiple occurrences. I knew some, had suspicion of many. I didn't want to blindly document ones they already knew. I wanted a partner in the process not a blackbox. Traps are widespread, always trigger, and are always fatal. Severity was obvious. Impact is self-evident.
Full of flaws and burdened by bad policies, State of Decay 2 may yet be played forever or at least until the heat death of the universe. All the more reason for @undeadlabs/@wushustudios to do the right thing and share info with players suffering from the remaining unfixed bugs.
@FalldownStream@undeadlabs@RanhothChord I was going to report a bug months ago but @jawafawa talked me out of it. He explained @undeadlabs's bug policy doesn't allow sharing info with me. My interest in reporting died in the darkness of that silo. No point in feeding my effort to a blackbox of community disinvolvement.
@FalldownStream@undeadlabs@RanhothChord 2 years+ ago? Check! I've been advocating for more openness the entire time. They act like it's never the right time. The cost is always too much because the long term value isn't fathomed. The damage is absorbed as if it was necessary when it wasn't.
@FalldownStream@undeadlabs@RanhothChord An open bug system would allow players to say "I've seen that bug", likely a more accurate accounting. The players should be informed of existing bugs and focus on unfound bugs.
@FalldownStream@undeadlabs Reporting existing bugs wastes the effort of the player, Rohan, and the bugs team. That is @ranhothchord's belief. It's better to check a list of existing bugs and focus on finding unreported bugs, unless one has something useful to add.
@Nowonmai78 @MonPrinCyclope@undeadlabs That is indeed one of the trap locations. Apparently it flips a pickup, doesn't trap it. This info should be nothing new for UL/W. They could've warned players sometime in the past 17+ months. Not a single word about it. Why shouldn't we be disappointed? @undeadlabs@rangutang
@FalldownStream@undeadlabs What at all do you think I'm asking for? For responses, I'm not Falldown so naturally I don't get the Falldown experience. I wouldn't expect you to have the cogs experience.
