Tomorrow, MPs will be voting on the call for a ceasefire in Gaza. It is a simple moral choice: do you support the indiscriminate killing of human beings, or do you want to stop the further loss of life?
In the aftermath of horror, we need voices for peace and diplomacy. Instead, our government has given the green light to unconscionable death and destruction.
I condemn the targeting of all civilian life. That includes the deplorable acts of terror by Hamas against Israeli civilians. And that includes acts of terror by the Israeli government against Palestinian civilians. More than 11,000 people in Gaza have been killed, almost half of whom are children.
Without a peaceful and political solution, this cycle of violence will go on and on, and it is the responsibility of members of Parliament to demand an end to the ongoing loss of life. We cannot become distracted from our overriding goal: to bring about freedom, justice and peace for all Palestinians and Israelis.
With every passing minute that the bombing continues, another human being is killed. This must end, now.
I will vote for a ceasefire tomorrow, and I will continue to demand the release of hostages, an end to the siege of Gaza, and an end to the occupation of Palestine. I urge colleagues to do the same.
🚨🇮🇱 Haaretz investigation EXPOSES all the ISRAELI LIES from October 7th (just like I predicated).
🇮🇱 Confirmed number dead is 900, not “nearly 2,000.”
🇮🇱 50% were Israeli soldiers.
🇮🇱 Most deaths have signs of being dead during Tank shelling.
🇮🇱 No evidence Hamas burnt any Israelis, but burns occurred from Israeli shelling.
🇮🇱 No beheaded babies.
🇮🇱 Defiling of Hamas fighters bodies, while Israeli soldiers were taken with respect to morgues.
🇮🇱 Number of people Hamas shot less than 100, most were settlers with guns on them.
🚨🇮🇱 Israel has lied about EVERYTHING while committing a grotesque genocide! Share the TRUTH!
@amanpour@QueenRania Thank you Your Majesty for speaking so well on our behalf, calling out the hypocrisy and representing our side so powerfully. You make us proud.
In a world exclusive, @QueenRania of Jordan spoke with me about the ongoing bombing of Gaza, civilian deaths, the massacres of October 7, and what she calls “a glaring double standard” in the west’s reaction to all this. Watch our full conversation.
This week we welcome two delegations – executives from Bosnia studying MIT’s innovation ecosystem, led by MIT alum Ned Lomigora, & the winning entrepreneurs from #BRAIN4DeepTech with @OpenstartupTN, a program building the foundation of deep tech in Africa.

@NaguibSawiris Makes no sense but Esper has long been at odds with Trump. The two leaders disagreed, for example, about the use of active-duty troops to respond to protests this summer.
