@Soteriology101 Wow, I guess I should be humbled in your greatness. Your books and your broadcasts are just so superior to everything that has come before. Forgive me for daring to question you!
@Soteriology101 It’s more complicated than that. Your reasons or choices are part of your nature. Your nature is formed by genetic blueprints and life experiences. Is the ability to do otherwise a defining factor of free will?
@Soteriology101 “LFW rejects necessitating causation” this just means “force.” Biblical free will is not about force. LFW is “still controlled by the agent for reasons.” The argument has always been about the “reasons.”
@Soteriology101 The description won’t be biblical, and neither was yours. Plus I don’t have a paid subscription so my word count is limited. So how do you want to proceed?
@Soteriology101 Why?! You’re expecting a rational explanation for causation from the Calvinist, while accepting no rational causation for your own view. At the very least this is a double standard.
@Soteriology101 If Florists are going to appeal to mystery about free will and foreknowledge why not just admit that God controls everything and man has free will as scripture proclaims?
@Soteriology101@YourCalvinist I find it interesting that you so easily see the “apparent” contradiction in Calvinism but not in your own system. Putting the decree idea aside, if God forces men to not covet the land during the 3 years He is violating their libertarian freewill!
