@mtkonczal For me the big story is wages. No sign of wage pressures, and evidence that full employment needs an unemployment rate lower than 4%. Creates classic dilemma for Fed: inflation points to higher rates, employment to lower ones
@ChrisJKennedy@RobertWhite_DC Actually, with all the emotional support pets I now assume my new renter will have a pet and jacked up the rent accordingly. No discounts for being pet free.
@EconBerger The unemployment rate has fallen just 0.1 ppt over past year and is 1/2 ppt above prepandemic level. Meanwhile AHE have slowed 1/2 ppt and labor share is really low. Sounds like below full employment and not improving materially.

La Roumanie intègre "nativement" le stockage au déploiement de nouvelles centrales solaires. Le pays bénéficie ainsi du solaire pilotable, qui renforce sa sécurité énergétique et réduit les coûts de son système électrique.

@DianeSwonk@ernietedeschi I think that inflation experiences are not that different by income for purchases. But they are by ownership. Rnts go up, mortgage payments flat for example. And high wealth households have seen tremendous gains in "affaordability"
@EconBerger Since he is unwilling to tie interest rates with labor market performance, it seems hard to understand why we should care about financial conditions. How do financial conditions affect inflation
@byHeatherLong I would ask the Chair, why will you wait until 2039 to hit 2% inflation. Shouldn't you work to get inflation down in a more timely basis
Reminder
Congress appropriated $250M+ in taxpayer money last year for Trump's wish-list renovations for the Kennedy Center, inserting no language about holding the whole thing hostage if it's not a shrine to Trump.

I know we all love to obsess about imputed financial services and the weighting of software
But over the past 3 months the labor market gained an average of 71k jobs with an unemployment rate at 4.1%; meanwhile core PCE has been 3%.
Why haven't we raised rates yet? 7/7
