The UAE Media Council has signed a cooperation agreement with IMI, a prominent global private sector media group, as part of its ongoing efforts to foster national talent in the media industry and bolster its role in developing the media infrastructure and elevating the sector's global competitiveness.
The agreement was signed at IMI's new headquarters in Abu Dhabi by H.E. Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, Secretary-General of the UAE Media Council, and Mr Rani Raad, CEO of IMI Group, in the presence of H.E. Maitha Majid Al Suwaidi, CEO of the Media Strategy and Policy Sector at UAE Media Council, and several directors and department heads from both entities.
وقّع مجلس الإمارات للإعلام، اتفاقية تعاون مع الشركة العالمية للاستثمارات الإعلامية، المجموعة الإعلامية الرائدة عالمياً والتابعة للقطاع الخاص، وذلك ضمن جهوده الرامية إلى تعزيز الكفاءات الوطنية في قطاع الإعلام، وترسيخ دورها في تطوير البنية التحتية الإعلامية وتنمية القطاع وتعزيز قدراته وتنافسيته على المستوى العالمي.
ووقع الاتفاقية سعادة محمد سعيد الشحي، الأمين العام لمجلس الإمارات للإعلام، والسيد راني رعد، الرئيس التّنفيذي لشركة العالمية للاستثمارات الإعلامية، بحضور سعادة ميثا ماجد السويدي، المدير التنفيذي لقطاع الاستراتيجية والسياسات الإعلامية في مجلس الإمارات للإعلام، وعدد من المديرين ورؤساء الأقسام من كلا الجانبين.
The cooperation agreement with IMI aims to offer world-class training and specialized job opportunities for National Talents. This comes as part of the Council’s role to develop the media infrastructure and elevate the sector’s global competitiveness.
