To be clear, this was always the intent of the DLSRA, but we know it wasn’t happening in practice. This new bill leaves no room for doubt/ambiguity.

NYers can now enter a payment plan even if their ticket is in default because of a missed appearance or unanswered traffic ticket! And judges can’t suspend your license if you miss a payment!
