⚠️ As of 4 p.m. today, #WakeCounty has enacted a local burn ban in alignment with the statewide burn ban previously issued by the @ncforestservice. The ban will be in effect until further notice.

The ban prohibits:
• Burning leaves, branches or other plant material
• Campfires, fire pits, outdoor fireplaces and burning barrels
• Fireworks and other pyrotechnics

Residents are asked to remain vigilant and avoid all outdoor burning until the ban is lifted.
