I visited a school at Lafenwa Itele around Ayobo and I almost lost my life.
The road was so bad, I have never seen a more terrible road in my entire life.
A small 3.6km road has been killing people for years especially school children and up until today, the Ogun State govt of @DapoAbiodunCON has refused to FIX IT.
A school bus filled with kids also fell, luckily they were all okay apart from 2 of the children who had injuries.
There was a deep ditch opposite a filling station and a Sienna with school children was also in it.
That road leads to about 3 Private Universities and over 20 nursery, primary and secondary schools. Just a 3.6km road, and it’s still not fixed for over 18 years.
Funny thing was that the people who came out to help during the accident said it happens on a daily basis and Ambode, the former governor of Lagos wanted to fix the road but Ogun State govt fought him that he was encroaching.
Up until today, Lafenwa-Itele Ayobo road has not been fixed and people have accidents on a daily basis ESPECIALLY SCHOOL CHILDREN.
A 3.6km road has taken lives every year
The Senator @AdeolaYAYI and the Local Govt Chairman needs to wake up.
YOU ALL NEED TO WAKE UP AND FIX THAT ROAD.
What are you doing in office if you can’t rep your own people?
