My family brought tea to the masjid for tahajjud. After the 4th rak‘ah, I went over to get some tea and saw some kids pouring it for people. I was thinking Oh thats cute
I told one kid to pour me some and he said, “1 riyal.” I said, What!? We’re the ones who brought it! They already had a cup full of coins . Makkah kids are hustlers 😂😂
my ex used to see me washing the dishes and say ‘Relax, you shouldn’t have to do that after you cooked dinner. Come sit down with me’. At first I would go sit because it sounded like he was offering to help. But he never did do those dishes, they just sat there til morning when I would still have to do them.
‘Relax’ didn’t mean ‘Relax, I’ll help’. It meant ‘don’t do the domestic labour I won’t help with in front of me because I might feel bad’
THE DIVORCE CAME OUT OF NOWHERE
NHS hospital: I noticed the clock on the wall showed the wrong time.
A nurse told me they knew, but they wouldn’t report it because replacing the battery through the NHS would cost £70.
A £2 battery... £70. How? Why?
That's when I began to dig further.

You’re bored because you’re not doing side quests, man.
Life is more than just working and then throwing yourself into bed doing nothing.
Here are 50 side quests to complete:
One of the most disgusting tendencies in British politics is always ensuring the Home Secretary is a person of colour, just so they can then weaponise their own identity while advancing reactionary policies.
While our hearts stay with Gaza and Sudan, don’t miss the homeless neighbor, the family grieving a loved one, the recently unemployed, the abandoned prisoner, or the struggling refugee.
Global compassion sharpens local duty, and your heart softens with pain that is near.
Don’t limit your political imagination to what you can see in this moment right now. everything you have was fought for by people with vision beyond what was in front of them or offered to them. in order to have more you have to go beyond what you can see. Move forward.
So I'm doing an internship at a hospital. there's a 56 yo man admitted. I observed whenever this lady visits, she literally lowers his blood pressure & heart rate by walking into the room. (Observed by other doctors too) I asked him who's she & he said "that's my wife"..crying 😭
My first world 'problem' is that I'd rather pay for sustainable straws and cutlery that are smooth than be handed wooden spoons and forks. I sensory nightmare 🤮🤮🤮🤮
@AnObserversView@IlmFeed Girl, please. You are not a Muslim in India to understand how Muslims are treated. You are also not a minority in Pakistan that you claim are treated badly.
Therefore, you have less lived experience of being a minority in your country than this boy, despite being a full adult.
