Stoked that my little jellyfish ambient music thing opened google I/o, but somehow more proud that my local edge version end up a demo project for the new coral boards.
You can put it in your house and it plays ambient music based on the positions of jellyfish in a livestream.

@dannolan On the phone they changed the “skip forward 15 seconds” that I would mash to get through breaks, to “skip forward 10 seconds then wait 2 seconds for the animation to finish and disappear before being able to press it again”. Insane how they’re able to make it worse.

@gbrl_dick@clarejtbirch The flip side is Morgan Stanley fine tuning a GPT 3 model on all their troves of internal data, only for GPT 4 to come out, and the vanilla version was better at all the internal tasks. I.e. is specialised only going to work if general hit a wall?
