Mark Cuban’s advice to people trying to get into AI is simple. help businesses implement.
SMBs have budget but zero expertise. they’re not waiting for AGI. they’re waiting for someone to show them what’s possible.
what’s stopping you from being the one they call?

Facebook Marketplace App Studio
Facebook has 3B users.
16% use Marketplace monthly.
That's 480M monthly users.
51% of ALL social media purchases happen there.
People make their entire living flipping on Marketplace.
Meanwhile:
* eBay has thousands of apps (some acquired for $100M+)
* Shopify devs earned $1B through their app ecosystem
Yet there are ZERO real tools for Facebook Marketplace
The API allows it. I vibe-coded one myself. It worked.
Here's what sellers would pay for:
1. Price scanners (is this dresser underpriced?)
2. Arbitrage alerts (worth more on eBay?)
3. Auto-responders for leads
4. Listing optimization tools
Productize what people are doing "in the shadows."
Massive platform.
No competition.
That's the alpha.
"Claude Code just SAVED my marriage!"
I gave Claude Code 512 GB of HEAVILY corrupted wedding footage from a close friend of mine, and within 10 minutes, recovered it all.
Two days ago, I got some bad news from a buddy telling me how the only copy of their wedding videos was corrupted to do a severe fault in the memory card.
Just like that, someone's happiest day turns into a nightmare. The footage was practically gone, nothing was able to read the memory card, and the only option was to pay thousands of $$$ or let it go.
Until I had an idea...
What if I plugged in the memory card and let Claude Code have a go at it.
It first made a copy of the corrupted files onto my computer using PhotoRec as to keep the original drive untouched. For context, I have never done anything like this before, it did this itself.
It looked at memory slices from the IDR, then began using FFMPEG to reconstruct the SPS, IDR, P/B, etc. all without me touching it once.
I come back to the full 512GB of uncorrupted video I can send back to my good friend. The power of Claude Code is insane.
I'm getting a version of this but for entire features
I find myself instinctively thinking "neat feature idea, not worth the time it will take to build and maintain it though" - and then prompting Claude Code anyway, because my 25+ year of intuitions don't match reality any more
Henry Kravis breaks down the 1985 Safeway LBO deal, one of the largest transactions that KKR had completed at the time
"We bought Safeway for $5.6B. We put up $126M for 100% of the equity. That was called leverage. $5.5B in debt and $126M of equity. At one point, on a sale in the public markets, we actually made 50x our money. Those are venture kind of returns."
gemini 3 pro is google's smartest model
n8n is the easiest automation platform
together, they can make up workflows that cost $10k-20k
the integration lets you:
→ build AI agents with little or without code
→ automate image and document processing
→ create complex workflows in minutes
→ configure thinking levels and API settings
i made a playbook that covers everything on:
- gemini 3 pro + n8n setup
- building decision-making agents
- advanced configs nobody talks about
most people don't know this exists yet
learn it before they do
comment "GEMINI" and i'll send you the playbook for building AI workflows with gemini 3 pro and n8n
Stripe offered to acquire us for $1.2 billion when we had $2M in revenue.
Today, we've raised $330M at an $8B valuation and reached $1B ARR.
We could've died three times during this journey.
This is the story I've never told anyone before:
hubspot makes over $2.75B+/year.
but they doesn't use linkedin like a billboard.
they use it like a team sport.
most companies have one boring corporate page posting product updates nobody reads.
hubspot has an army of executives building credibility authentically:
-yamini rangan (ceo): 147k followers, repositioned them into the ai-first giant they are today
- yamini rangan (ceo): 147k followers, repositioned them into the ai-first giant they are today
- kipp bodnar (cmo): 27k followers, runs a podcast, shares how they're combating ai x marketing
- kieran flanagan (svp): 98k followers, killer ai workflow content
- jon dick (chief customer success): 12k followers, product updates and cs insights
- brenda fridman (sales director): event reflections, sales thoughts, in-person team updates
and that's just the executives.
employees across the org are posting authentic content that feels personal, not corporate.
every post adds credibility... every conversation drives visibility back to the product.
this is why hubspot dominates the feed.
they turned their linkedin strategy into a distributed content machine.
the playbook is right in front of you.
SORA 2 + Claude + Perplexity is absolutely WILD
This combo is absolutely insane for generating videos that actually convert.
No agencies. No production crews. No creative directors charging $500/hour.
Just three AI tools working together like a professional video team.
Here's how it works:
→ Perplexity researches your product + competitors + winning ad angles
→ Claude analyzes research and writes 10+ video prompts optimized for conversion
→ Sora 2 generates multiple video variations from Claude's prompts
→ Claude scores each video against psychological triggers and platform requirements
→ Best performers get refined and regenerated automatically
Perfect for brands testing creative at scale without burning budget.
The power is in the combo:
Perplexity = market intelligence most creative teams miss
Claude = prompts that understand psychology and platform algorithms
Sora 2 = production quality that looks like you spent $5K per video
While others are briefing agencies for next month's content, you're testing 50 variations this afternoon.
Compare different angles.
Find what converts.
Scale immediately.
Like, RT + reply with "SORA" and I'll DM the complete 3-tool system
(Must be following so I can DM)
Skip this and keep paying agencies $20K/month for 5 videos.
understanding GEO, AI search and how to get traffic (and money) from it:
my head exploded when I heard that "AI search converts at 10–40% vs 1–2% from SEO."
okay, so what do we need to know about generative search aka GEO:
ai search (perplexity, chatgpt, gemini) is still just a fraction of google’s volume… but the traffic is insanely high intent.
here’s why: when someone asks “what’s the best xyz tool,” the model:
– explodes it into 100+ derivative queries
– scrapes ~1,000 pages
– synthesizes all that into an answer
so by the time they click, they’ve basically sat through a thousand-page sales deck delivered by a neutral third party. they land on your site credit card in hand.
the playbook @codyschneider laid out on @startupideaspod:
– track which URLs LLMs scrape (PromptWatch, AI SEO Tracker etc)
– pay ~$500 (or affiliate rev share) to get mentioned on those pages
– show up in ai answers within 24 hours
traditional SEO = 6–12 months of waiting.
pure arbritage
not sure how long this lasts
but in the meantime
im rooting for you
The arrest of Tyler Robinson is a tragedy.
The father did right thing by turning him in.
But the deeper problem?
Schools + universities radicalizing our kids.
I taught public school for 20 years. I saw it firsthand. It’s the reason I left the classroom.
