Looking at this pyramid of thinking heirarchy & seeing where the "politician" is at, more so where the "cult leader" is at, & knowing that #Ethiopia|n politics is marred in cult leadership thinking; it is easy to get the picture of where we are & where we are headed as a country.

#Ethiopia ranked 148th country on the global peace index (#GPI) in the World only preceded by five other African countries (most of them on the usual suspects list) including Somalia, Sudan, DR Congo, Chad and Zimbabwe; Somalia being at the bottom of the African countries list.

The #economic_cost of the #war is being estimated at $10bln usd todate. Even if we were to estimate the protracted economic impact of this conflict through two equivalent #GERD projects it means that the war would be costing #Ethiopia over $100bln usd over the next decade alone.

The economic impact of the year long #Ethiopia|n #civilwar shows a clear path of self destruction as seen in the below reports of World Bank (2020) and that of IMF (2021). Clearly this war of vendetta is undoing every single leap of economic progress made over the past 20 years.
