✏️ The first step of the splash art was creating a few thumbnails and deciding which direction to follow. We chose A because it highlighted each character better, which was our goal from the start.
✨ Recently we discovered the new game from Supercell called https://t.co/GBUPHTumqJ and we were amazed by the project.
Its art direction, cinematics, splash arts, and overall style really caught our attention, which motivated us to create this splash art as a fanart.
🎬 A bit of the process behind the main scene from our latest project: Rush - Valorant Cinematic.
🛠️ One highlight was the environment and matte painting, creating a unique mood for each scene.
🎬 An animation, no matter how short, goes through many stages before final delivery. In Rush Valorant Cinematic, we spent months from storyboard and animatic to animation and final polish, always aiming for quality and smooth transitions between shots. ✨
🎨 The environment creation for our Jett project goes through several stages focused on quality and style.
We export the 3D environment, adjust colors, illustrate the scene, and project it back into 3D, merging 2D details with the 3D characters.

💡 The lighting process is one of the most important steps to bring life and set the mood a film requires, and this project was no different. We spent weeks testing light placement and color, applying variations for each shot, always with great care and passion for the process ✨
🎬 An animation like this may look simple, but it involves multiple stages and challenges behind the scenes.
⏳ Our team spent two months crafting this short piece, focusing on delivering the highest quality possible.

@kcryptickk All the lighting was done using real light objects directly in Blender.
🎨 In compositing, we handled color correction, added atmospheric elements, and applied a few extra texture tweaks and final adjustments to polish the result.
💥 In this Jett animation, we combined multiple skills and workflows to achieve the highest possible level of quality. This included environment vegetation animation, an illustrated background, dust 2D FX, and a detailed compositing pass that brought everything together.
🎨 As part of the creation process for the Rush cinematic, we took on the challenge of recreating the character Jett the way we envisioned her, bringing a unique aesthetic while staying true to her look in Riot’s animations and in the game itself.
