Progressives must address the key issues shaping the Mediterranean region and the European Union’s approach to the region. 🇪🇺
#CallToEurope will examine the geopolitical shifts affecting the region, including the urgent need for a just peace process that leads to a fair and sustainable solution between Palestine and Israel, as well as the responsibility of the European Union to actively condemn Israel’s illegal violations of international law and uphold the protection of Palestinian rights.
🕊️
Participants will also reflect on the broader regional implications of the United States and Israel’s illegal war against #Iran and Lebanon, and the wider destabilising impacts on the Mediterranean region, as well as the democratisation struggles in North Africa. 🌍

Thank you for everything Pep Guardiola. You’ve changed football in this country and you were always a true gentleman and great competitor.
Liverpool would not have had as much success in the last 10 years without City pushing us.

I'd known that Lilian Thuram, French world champion of 1998 was a pretty impressive guy off the field too, anti-racism activist, but I have only just clocked that in 2022 he authored this history of thought, La pensée blanche (broadly: White Thinking) https://t.co/3hFJIWpdH3
