@Hyderabadi2911 Indian Railways carries 2.3 crore passengers/day, assuming 10% are working people and each loses 30 mins/day to delays, that’s 11.5 lakh man hours lost daily. At ₹50/hour, the economic cost is about ₹5.75 crore per day, or nearly ₹2,100 crore a year. Cost of inefficiency!!!
