two members gone, all the budget was used on the teasers, zayn left 1D, sehun had no shoes, the music industry was in shambles, they had a garage, 2 luxury cars, a fuck ton of hair gel, kai’s plaid pants, and a dream. they had ONE chance to make history

As of now, the martial law isn't fully lifted yet until president Yoon Suk-yeol officially lifts it. However, the president is required by law to lift it following the 100% vote against the martial law by 190 parliament members, or else he could be impeached or even arrested

[rhea @pcychward]

mind you the lawmakers ran, climbed walls, went inside, barricaded the military, drafted the bill and voted against the martial law all within 1-2 hours. crazy

[John Yoo  @oniontaker]

This was a coup attempt.

We were lucky to have enough legislators present at the time to pass the vote.

We were lucky to have brave citizens blocking soldiers from storming the parliament building.

A warning for the Philippines. One of our closest allies, South Korea, now under martial law — imposed by a president very irritated by impeachment attempts against him and investigations into his family. Uses communist threat to justify his declaration.

[Yejin Gim @gimyejin]

I'm a South Korean journalist based in New York City. This is a thread about what's happening in South Korea right now after the president declared emergency martial law.

[EN🪽 @EN33364634]

This is not about North Korea. Now South Korea is going back under military dictatorship like 1987 because he’s scared of being impeached

Let me tell you what should qualify an artist as the Biggest Artist of the Year, mostly related to the criteria.

1. Commercial Success - Album sales, streaming numbers, concert attendance, and overall revenue generated throughout the year.
