@kpak82 What I wrote to you here today wasn’t about you, although it seems like you’re taking it personally. What I mean is that no matter how good the mentor is, success depends on each individual.
@kpak82 For you, no — you’re a good trader. But for someone who follows you without their own judgment, or who’s looking for confirmation for some reckless idea, yes, it can be dangerous.
If they don’t know how to manage risk, going against the trend is risky.
@LuvThyNeighbor9@kpak82 Trading is not about being right or wrong. It’s about making money.
And the real skill is being able to win in both scenarios — or at least lose very little when the opposite extreme scenario happens.
That’s the approach where I’ve seen the most consistency in trading.
@kpak82 What you’re saying is perfect: it’s 3–5 trades you can lose in a day and nothing happens.
But many people don’t do that. They use your ideas as confirmation for their own, bet too big,no protection, and then unload their frustration on you.
That’s the logic you have to deal with.
@kpak82 and trying to call trend reversals is very dangerous. You’re not only going against the market; to win at that game over the long run, you also need humility and a well-controlled ego, because even when you’re right, it can still go wrong. 2/2
@kpak82 I was a subscriber to your service, I believe back in 2017, and I still follow you from time to time with appreciation. I’ve grown as a trader and I know that what you say is true. But for most people, especially those who don’t master risk management, betting against trends 1/2
