@midwestboy94 Hardshell ones like this you can't pin into super easily. If you're sewing for yourself and don't need to change the size of the form, try to track down an all foam one instead π
@TheJimboInLimbo Additionally, remove the needle plate & check the area of the bottom looper to see if it has been cleaned.
Old machines can work for decades if they were well cared for & can be a decent way to save money π
@TheJimboInLimbo If you're sewing stretchy material, make sure you get a machine with a zig zag stitch! Even better if it has a lightingbolt stitch or a triple straight stitch.
If it doesn't sound right, it's probably not right. You don't want any thunking sounds.
