The number of people taking photos & video of people using drugs and posting them on X is unbelievable. They complain in disgust: "Look at these people ruining our city.”

When I suggest a supervised consumption site I’m told "We are not enabling them, we want them to get clean.” What they’re saying is they want to control vulnerable populations and force them into treatment, which is ABUSE.

Some of the people they’re filming/exploiting use drugs now because of past trauma & abuse. Now they want to do more of the same to them. That’s not trauma-informed, that's TRAUMATIZING.

@PabloJBarillas @DanielaClawson I had to google it because I didn’t know them offhand, but Louisiana, Georgia, and Mississippi have laws against owning human remains so if you’re in any of those states your request will be denied.

@PabloJBarillas @DanielaClawson We are actually obligated to fulfill those requests. Only in certain circumstances can they be denied, such as a body part infected with tuberculosis or an organ that didn’t stay in tact during surgery. Also there are a few states where it is illegal to own any body parts.
