Everyone that got suspended yesterday was suspended almost for the same reason

But according to yesterday suspension here is my observation:

There was a massive wave of monetization pauses (just days earlier) that X explicitly linked to engagement farming.

They paused revenue sharing for thousands of accounts after detecting repeated tactics like “RT if you agree,” follow-back promises, stolen/duplicate content, etc.

Nikita Bier indicated that many of the paused accounts were then forwarded for suspension review.

The timeline matches:

monetization pauses → mass suspensions shortly after.

Many of the suspended accounts had long histories of engagement farming practices that helped them earn from ad revenue sharing

X has been tightening enforcement on exactly these behaviors

Recent algorithm improvements made it easier to detect these patterns at scale

X is not against you making money, it’s against you making money from them by posting fake news, direct rage baits, spamming and engagement farming

X is the best information platform for realtime news but because of monetisation people are posting fake news and misleading information for money

Not every suspended account is necessarily guilty of the same thing.

Some people are reporting what look like false positives or overly broad enforcement.

A few accounts might have had additional issues

I hope my friends and others will be pardoned in the future

Please be careful of the type of contents you post especially when you are monetised

X wants to be paying original creators not engagement farmers
